We got there late. Staff was nice, but did not use any amenities. Would recommend.
Quiet*, well maintained. Level gravel sites. Pay close attention to the signs after you turn off of I-40. Be sure to turn left between the two service stations.
We booked several nights here but hooked back up and left after just one. One night without a wink of sleep is enough for these two. Sleeping pills, alcohol, ear plugs and a sound machine and MAYBE you have a prayer. Trains bombing by, horns blaring every 20min 24/7, yes really. I'm shocked more reviews skip this little detail. I'm sure the owners and park itself are great but we basically use parks as just a place to rest up till our next long drive. Can't do that here! !

We always stay at Bar S at exit 79 I40 when passing through Milan NM because friendly atmosphere. Personnel very helpful.
Easy to get to from Hwy 40. Friendly staff. It's not luxurious and the area for dogs was not good at all and it was quite noisy, but it was a place to rest after a long day of travel.
